The Age of Stupid

The Age of Stupid is a documentary that I had the opportunity to watch in 2009. It's very shocking but also very revealing.

It shows how life in our planet may become if we don't stop burning all the planet's resources. It's sad and alarming.

Our age is responsible for the destruction and the end of life on Earth; and for that, I sadly agree with the title of the documentary.

Do you really need a Prada?

What do you really need to be or feel happy?

I invite you to think about it...

Heading to a new life

Everyday I wake up and start thinking about all the things I could do to change the world, and then I go to bed without having done anything.

Recently I found out that I'm pregnant. From that moment on everything changed. Not only the morning sickness and constant nausea have been hitting me, but also the feeling and hope that I finally can do something that will have an impact in the world.

I don't want to seem pretentious but I believe that as a parent to be I have the power and mission not only to create a better world to my baby, but to raise a great human being to the world.

I know that there are so many decisions I will have to make, and all of them are going to have an impact on my baby's life. I think that the natural world has all the answers and that in watching nature I will  learn how to navigate the uncertainties.

For millions of years the natural world developed and improved its methods and I believe in that wisdom.
I'm counting on Mother Nature to show me the path!

Back to the basics

It's been almost nine years since I first realized that the natural environment is and will increasingly become the most important concern of our current and future generations. More specifically, the depletion and degradation of the ecosystems.

What I didn't know is that many people have been studying and predicting how the future generations will have to adapt in order to survive the chaos ahead of us.

That became a tremendous concern in my life.
